OUR PROCESS

Thank you for your interest in a Mercury Australian Shepherd. At Mercury Australian Shepherds our puppies are raised with puppy culture to foster a happy, confident, biddable and well socialized puppy to be successful in any home whether it is as a companion or sport dog. We also begin ENS (early neurological stimulation) and ESS (early scent stimulation) when puppies are 3 days old. We strive to create positive associations with numerous new experiences. Our puppies are raised in our home alongside our other dogs and are exposed to daily household life. Puppies are started on crate training, housebreaking, leash training, and basic manners while with us.

Puppies' tails are docked and front dewclaws left intact. All puppies are sold on contract and individually matched to their families no sooner than 8 weeks once health clearances, structure, and temperament evaluations are completed. At that time puppies will have received deworming, first vaccines, a vet check-up, microchip, and had their eyes screened by a board-certified ophthalmologist. Puppies intended to be kept intact as an adult are sold on a co-own contract only. Our puppies come with health and eye certificates and proof of heath clearances along with lifetime breeder support and mentoring. Puppies are never placed based solely on color. Gender preferences will be considered.

Triton easily finished in ASCA and AKC. He has his novice obedience title along with legs in rally and is training in agility and herding with his 14 year old Jr handler. Finnesse is a drivey, smart, sweet girl who loves to do it all. This litter should produce beautiful pups with brains, fabulous temperaments, drive, and structure, who will excel in all venues.
